The “why”…
This is the first book of its kind, there are no others like it and with all the theory based HR books out there, I wanted to bring some real perspective behind the doors of HR, there are highs, lows and everything in between. This book fully explores that rollercoaster to give some authenticity behind the people profession to help motivate, inspire and support people in the profession from a practical viewpoint. This helps people with mindset; to turn negtives into positives, develop resilience and find their purpose.
For those that know me, I’ve had a very different HR career from traditional routes, I worked hard to prove that I could bring something different and more human to the profession.
Now for the book itself…
The book was brought to life by the incredible Amy Bradley, the talented lady behind Andy Coates books “Shine” and “Happiness”. I loved the style and imagery so much I plucked up the courage and emailed her directly and asked if she’d consider bringing my book to life. As you can see, she has managed to capture it perfectly!
The foreword has been written by the fantastic Shakil Butt, Treasurer at the CIPD. I’ve known Shakil for years and when he speaks people stop and listen, he is so inspiring so when I told him about the book, he was so supportive and was behind me from the get go, so there is no one better to open this book than him.

Launch Your HR Career will be available in a number of different formats including e-reader (Kindle), PDF format (which will be found here and on my business website) as well as on Amazon. For my followers who have been with me all this time, you can pre-order the full colour edition which will be available to pre-order here shortly, there is limited amount of 50 copies, they will of course be signed for you if you wish!
