“Be the reason someone smiles. Be the reason someone feels loved and believes in the goodness in people.”
Roy T. Bennett
It’s Monday! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and are sticking with the challenges, I’ve had some wonderful messages from some of you so do make sure you keep them coming.
Ok so it’s a new week and we are heading back to our desks, so let’s bring some kindness to our workplaces today.
Creating a positive workplace culture is essential for a happy workplace which makes it more productive and creates a sense of community.
“How far that little candle throws his beams! So shines a good deed in a weary world.” William Shakespeare
Sunday greetings to you all, I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend so far!
Weekends are for spending quality time with those we love and generally having that much needed time off from the stresses of work. Therefore this challenge is one which gets you supporting those closest to home.
Being kind to friends and family sounds like it should be a given, however, it is something we can too easily take for granted when we are busy with work, studies or general life, which can result in us becoming unintentionally neglectful of the relationships that matter the most.
“When words are both true and kind, they can change the world.”
Happy Saturday! How did you all get on with yesterday’s challenge? It was pretty thought-provoking for a Friday challenge but it is one that can make a really big difference.
Today is one of the biggest shopping days of the year, this can be a pretty stressful experience for many of us (I have to line shop as my husband gets really overwhelmed when the shops are busy) personally, I enjoy the experience of watching others carefully (and sometimes not so much!) pick out gifts for their loved ones.
Hello and welcome back to the HR acts of kindness virtual advent calendar, I hope you are fully rested and feeling kinder to yourselves after yesterday’s challenge.
Today we are turning our kindness attentions to our social media channels, many of us are on several social media platforms, so there’s plenty of opportunity to spread some net-based joy!
“A little thought and a little kindness are often worth more than a great deal of money”. John Ruskin
Wow, I can’t believe that we are on day four of our advent countdown already; who has been joining in with the challenges so far? Do keep your comments and tweets coming in, it is great to hear how HR acts of kindness is working for you and those close to you.
