“How far that little candle throws his beams! So shines a good deed in a weary world.” William Shakespeare

Sunday greetings to you all, I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend so far!

Weekends are for spending quality time with those we love and generally having that much needed time off from the stresses of work. Therefore this challenge is one which gets you supporting those closest to home.

Being kind to friends and family sounds like it should be a given, however, it is something we can too easily take for granted when we are busy with work, studies or general life, which can result in us becoming unintentionally neglectful of the relationships that matter the most.

I admit that sadly I am one of those people, just ask my best friend Michelle! She would say that sometimes she hears from me then other times I will be distracted with others things, this is a really bad trait of mine which I acknowledge and am working hard on. Michelle, my best friend since I was 17 years old, this blog post is dedicated to you, thank you for always being there for me even though I can be distracted and talk shop all the time.

The challenge for today is: say it, don’t just think it; when you have the opportunity today, tell those people who are important in you life how you feel. After losing someone dear to me last month, life is too short, so take the opportunities to say to them how you feel and remind them how special they are to you.
