It is impossible to be angry and grateful at the same time!
At the moment it feels that negativity is all around us, it’s on the news, towns are empty and we are still apart from our loved ones. Times are tough for so many but we can escape those negatives by focusing on the positives.
Today’s HR Acts of Kindness is about gratitude; realign your focus by thinking of the things you are grateful for; it could be an extra five minutes you take to prepare a meal rather than grabbing convenient food, it could be that wonderful smell of coffee, a moment to go outside, talking to a friend, or simply just taking time to breathe.
Being grateful makes us happier, less attached to material things but it also allows us to be kinder to others and ourselves.
