About Me

Natalie Ellis, Business Owner, Blogger, Podcaster, Author and HR Consultant

I am an HR professional with over 19 years of employment law and commercial HR experience. I’m delighted to welcome you to my corner of the digital world. I’m Natalie, founder and Managing Director of Rebox HR, where I blend strategic business thinking with authentic people management.

When I’m not revolutionising workplace practices, you might find me co-hosting the “HR Unboxed” podcast with Faye Ramsey and Producer Chris, penning insights in my book “Launch Your HR Career”, or cuddling my beloved French Bulldog in our Northamptonshire home. Between Spice Girls singalongs, I’m passionate about showing that HR extends far beyond the stereotype of tea, biscuits and cosy conversations.

My journey began at 16, choosing real-world experience over university. Those early customer service roles proved invaluable, laying the foundation for my approach to my work today. I’ve always been driven to help businesses thrive whilst supporting the people who power them—a natural passion that shapes everything I do.

This blog, started in 2015, serves as my platform to share the strategic complexity and evolving challenges of modern HR. I believe in giving an authentic voice to our profession, showcasing how HR professionals are essential business partners in today’s rapidly changing workplaces.

I am fortunate to have a crafted a successful career, created a successful business and I get to work with some incredible people everyday, doing what I love.

Some of my achievements include being named the Leader of the Year 2025 at the British HR Awards, Female Business Leader of the Year 2024 at the National Business Women’s Awards, and Rebox HR being named as Breathe’s Partner of the Year 2023. Since starting my business, we have won 18 business awards since 2020.

Join me as I share insights from building a successful business, navigating the complex world of employment law, and championing human-centred approaches to brighten workspaces. I look forward to connecting with fellow professionals, aspiring HR practitioners, and business leaders alike on this journey.
