Launch Your HR Career; my first book lands September 2020!

For as long as I can remember, I have always adored books and always dreamed of writing one, and now I have!

Truth be told, I never thought I was good enough to write a book, but the more I spoke at conferences, the more I realised, I do have something to offer, so I put pen to paper and Launch Your HR Career was created.

It did not happen overnight, in 2018, I had an idea for the book, but zero confidence to create it. 2019, I wrote a draft half-heartedly but then I kicked myself into gear and wrote the final draft. Now in 2020, it is ready.

Launch Your HR Career is aimed at those starting out in HR, those exploring a career change and anyone who would like to truly explore the profession, good, bad and ugly! I’ll share my secrets on how to become resilient, why it’s positive to learn through failure, facing challenges head-on and most of all shape a glittering career.

The book will be available in September and as part of the release, I will be doing a book tour. If there are any Universities, businesses, Colleges or professional groups that would like me to do a talk or host a workshop please get in touch!

  1. Dear Natalie,

I think your story is amazing! I am currently studying at Coventry University and I would love to see you here! I am currently in second year doing Business and HR. I am at the beginning of everything so I would like someone to give me some guidance. I am seeking to do an internship from May 2020 so I am looking for companies that have available intern positions. I would like to find out more about your book and your career path!

  2. Book tours are so much fun! What stops do you have on your itinerary so far? I’m sure any of the business schools or entrepreneur clubs would love to have you speak for them. I haven’t done anything quite like this myself, but I have gone to writer’s conferences and showcases in the past and loved it. I hope everything goes smoothly for you!

    1. Hi Vickie,

That is so very kind of you! I’m going to be touring a lot of the UK (Birmingham, London, Exeter, Manchester) and hopefully a stop over in Copenhagen at one of their colleges or universities!

  3. Just from reading your blog, I can tell that you’re more than qualified to write a book, I’m sorry that you doubted yourself for so long! However it’s good to see that you overcame that and found the confidence you needed to write this. I’ll be looking forward to September with you!
